Gaia's Field was my senior fall project at NCSU. It was created as a creative user experience solution to littering. Gaia's Field was a mobile initiative to increase interest in trash pickup through gamification and geo-mapping.

App Design
Introduction
The app uses a dual design direction which structures the components by hierarchy. The main subsection uses green and white tones to give more color to the presentation while other sections remove the green. For visuals, I used silhouettes for icons and full painted images for the visual language.

Process

The task was centered around answering a design question and working through the process of creating the best experience for a user demographic. To that extent, a large portion of the project is lost when not considering the process work. For this reason I recommend reviewing the Gaia's Field PDF

Conclusion
Conclusion
Gaia's Field is my entry into user experience design through product research. The process is exceptionally important for this piece as it shows how I study, explore, and experiment in a time sensitive atmosphere and ultimately come to a solution.
